On Wednesday 31st August 2022, Rotary Wellington Point, together with friends, gathered to thank the wonderful Jaipur Palace team for their generous contribution to our community .
In December 2017, while Rotary Wellington Point were holding a dinner at Jaipur Palace, David stated how they would like to support the community and from that conversation a project and relationship developed between Jaipur Palace, Rotary Wellington Point and Redlands Community Centre.
Since we got the arrangement in place Jaipur has regularly been donating 30 meals weekly or fortnightly, depending on the need, via Rotary to the R.C.C. That is over 3,000 meals distributed to the homeless and those in need thanks to David and Sheena !
Rotary not only said thank you but recognised their generosity by awarding them with a Paul Harris Fellow recognition. Rotary established this recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions for community projects.
Thank you again Jaipur Palace team for your compassion and care for those less fortunate …. We had a lovely night with delicious food and wonderful company while recognising your achievement .
