Rotary’s Areas of Service

 

Rotary Wellington Point is part of a global network of people of action who work together to create lasting change. Our work is guided by Rotary’s Areas of Service—the framework that helps clubs like ours strengthen communities, build connections, and make a meaningful impact locally and internationally.

 

Club Service

Club Service focuses on strengthening Rotary Wellington Point from within. It’s about building an inclusive, welcoming environment where members feel connected, supported, and empowered to take action.

We do this by:

  • Creating engaging meetings and events

  • Encouraging collaboration and leadership

  • Supporting member wellbeing and development

Club Service ensures our club remains vibrant, effective, and ready to serve.

Community Service

Community Service is at the heart of what we do. These projects address real needs in Wellington Point, Redlands, and surrounding areas.

Our work includes:

  • Supporting local organisations and community groups

  • Delivering hands?on projects that improve daily life

  • Responding to emerging needs with practical solutions

Community Service is where Rotary Wellington Point’s impact is most visible.

International Service

Rotary is global, and so is our reach. International Service connects our club with projects around the world, promoting peace, improving health, and supporting sustainable development.

This includes:

  • Partnering with Rotary clubs overseas

  • Supporting humanitarian initiatives

  • Contributing to global programs like disease prevention, clean water, and education

International Service reminds us that local action can have worldwide impact.

Youth Service

Youth Service empowers young people to lead, learn, and thrive. Rotary Wellington Point supports programs that help young people build confidence, skills, and community connections.

Examples include:

  • Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

  • Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN)

  • Interact and Rotaract partnerships

  • School?based initiatives and mentoring

Youth Service invests in the next generation of leaders and changemakers.

Vocational Service

Vocational Service celebrates integrity, professional growth, and using our skills for good. It encourages members to share their expertise and support ethical leadership in the community.

We do this through:

  • Mentoring and career development

  • Recognising excellence in local professions

  • Applying our skills to community projects

Vocational Service helps us turn professional experience into community impact.
